Event Overview

A transformative experience where technology meets purpose

The AI for Good Hackathon 2026, organized by the OpenmindProjects Foundation in partnership with Capgemini, is an innovative competition designed to empower Thai high school and university students to harness artificial intelligence (AI) for positive social impact. Under the theme 'Make It Real,' participants submit AI-driven ideas to address real-world community challenges, fostering creativity, digital literacy, and sustainable development. The event culminates in a free, one-day intensive camp on February 2, 2026, at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Bangkok, where the top 10 teams refine their concepts through workshops, mentoring, and a pitch contest. Finalist projects advance to public crowdfunding on the OpenSkills platform, extending impact beyond the event.

Empower Youth Innovation

Engage students from diverse institutions and fields in developing AI solutions for community problems, with no prototype required just strong, feasibility ideas.

Promote AI for Good

Focus on seven key themes, including AI Literacy in Rural Education, AI-Driven Financial Inclusion, AI & Human Well-Being, Environment, Disaster & Risk Reduction, Agriculture, and AI in Tourism. These align with global sustainable development goals, emphasizing ethical AI use for risk reduction, equity, and sustainability.

Build Skills and Networks

Through mini-workshops, 1-on-1 mentoring with Capgemini global executives, and a live pitch battle, participants gain practical skills in problem-solving, AI integration, and presentation.
